TPE Compounds

Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) compounds are a family of flame-retardant grades, some of which are dynamically crosslinked. These compounds have a good balance of physical and aging properties. All of the products listed below comply with the EU RoHS directive.

Applications include heat-sensing cables, appliance wire and flame-retardant insulation and computer cables.

TPE 52800.89 A natural, olefin-based TPE intended for flexible cable, welding cable and general purpose cable jacketing. This dynamically crosslinked compound offers a low-modulus and excellent low temperature flexibility.
TPE 54900.89 A natural, olefin-based TPE intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing. It is designed to offer excellent low temperature flexibility and deformation resistance.
TPE 5575R1.35 A flexible natural, olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing applications where high temperature performance and excellent flame resistance are required. TPE 5575R exhibits excellent wet and dry electrical properties, superior chemical resistance, provides good resistance to abrasion, impact and crush and also exhibits superior low temperature properties.
TPE 5595R1.31 A natural, olefin-based TPE intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing applications where high temperature performance and excellent flame resistance are required.
TPE 5595CR1.34 A natural, olefin-based TPE intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing applications where high temperature performance and excellent flame resistance are required. TPE 5595CR has 7% more flame retardant than TPE 5595R to help with tray cable flame testing. It is a non-decabrom, UV resistant product.
TPE 51871.20 A flexible natural, olefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing applications where high temperature performance and excellent flame resistance are required. Replacement for Santoprene™ 8451-87W232.
TPE 53451.17 A flexible natural, olefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing applications where high temperature performance and excellent flame resistance are required. Replacement for Santoprene™ 8453-45W232.
TPE 61870.97 A natural, thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) intended for wire and cable insulation and jacketing. It is designed to offer excellent low temperature flexibility and deformation resistance. Replacement for Santoprene™ 8261-87.

TT 107M1.28 A black masterbatch containing grafting initiators, catalyst and novel ambient cure technology for use in modified Monosil cable extrusion. TT 107M provides effective long term UV weather resistance.  
PR 20031.30 A linear low density polyolefin concentrate which when blended at 5% with HDPE base resin and various moisture cure resins, offers an excellent balance of ultraviolet protection and track resistance. Available in Black and Grey.
